Privacy and confidentiality are huge issues of new media today. These issues are usually interconnected with social networking sites than any other forms of new media. As such, Myspace and Facebook are targeted social networks with privacy and confidentiality concerns. People usually disclose and expose unnecessary information to the general public that of which can backfire against them. Because individuals have been carelessly revealing such information as their phone numbers, addresses, sibling names, birthdays, and many more, this revelation may lead to identity theft and harm the individual or their loved ones. Also, the exposure of certain information may lead to stalking, sexual harassment, and other types of potential attacks that can invade their privacy. Because new media is taking our identities and privacy to a new level, the community must be aware of the privacy settings and options that are available for them in order to manage their profile so that it remains exclusive

For out school the advice would faster Wifi because many students, staff, and professors complain about it and it is becoming a huge problem for Brooklyn College. The campus is antique and beautiful. Its not high tech or vast like other cunys however once you enter, its as if youre in another world. Especially during spring when all the flowers come into bloom are everywhere to be found. Brooklyn College is an great institute but some of the old school non-technological existences bothers lots of students. "The wifi is horrible, buildings are obsolete, virtually anybody can enter the campus, other students are disrespectful and rude, area is not safe at night, no food around campus, and the professors are horrible." this is quote from a anonymous student who commented about our school and its problems.

Technology does not quell creativity, in fact, there’s a great deal of evidence that suggests that technology enhances creativity. Certainly, we are expected to be more creative in our working lives than a generation ago. The truth is that by expanding possibilities and automating part of the creative process, we can all be more creative and productive.
