Social networking the use of dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to oneself. When Facebook first came out everybody was talking about it, i was a freshman in high school back in 2008, it did came out before 2008 but i was socially out going hanging out with my friends and never paid attention to social media. After i discovered Facebook it made me realize how many people are here and how many friends i could've made from here, so i stopped going out more and i went spending hours on Facebook than i spend with my friends. Same goes for twitter and many other social media sites. The Internet is a vast source of information that is accessible from almost anywhere on the planet. It is a seemingly never-ending resource that can be used for good especially when used for educational purposes. As we all know the Internet comes with its fair share of dangers, and a knowledge of how to use the Internet safely is a necessity in today’s world. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives. The Internet gives people the opportunity to educate themselves, and all from the comfort of their own home if they wish. It allows us to be able to learn as much as we want about what we want. as the technology grows people are becoming more addictive to the internet, smartphones, apps, etc.... I think that as corporations get more involved in social networks, people will increasingly start to look for alternatives. When I was a kid, some people stopped watching movies on “regular” tv and started subscribing to paid movie channels so that they could watch movies without commercial breaks. Maybe we’ll have to pay a fee to get an advertising-free experience, like we can do now in the music services like Spotify or when we pay extra for a Kindle so we don’t have sponsored screen savers.

I've been talking about how soccer team should focus on developing players from their youth academy and how they shouldn't invest so much money at a 16 17 year old kid, because they can turn out to be a flop in the future and how youth Soccer has evolved into a fiercely competitive arena. More and more children are leaving recreational leagues to play in highly competitive select leagues. Select leagues are made up of teams, which players must tryout or be selected to play for. I had the unfortunate task of being an evaluate at such a tryout. Fifty ten-year-old boys had come out for a three day tryout in which forty five of them were placed on three teams. Cuts were made on the field and for those boys who had made a team it was a very exciting, but for the five boys who were cut it was absolutely heartbreaking. For out school the advice would faster Wifi because many students, staff, and professors complain about it and it is becoming a huge problem for Brooklyn College. The campus is antique and beautiful. Its not high tech or vast like other cunys however once you enter, its as if youre in another world. Especially during spring when all the flowers come into bloom are everywhere to be found. Brooklyn College is an great institute but some of the old school non-technological existences bothers lots of students. "The wifi is horrible, buildings are obsolete, virtually anybody can enter the campus, other students are disrespectful and rude, area is not safe at night, no food around campus, and the professors are horrible." this is quote from a anonymous student who commented about our school and its problems.
